Starting from next month , Facebook will bring Low cost internet access to Nigerians via internet.org project.

The head of public policy for Facebook Africa ,  Ebele Okobi, revealed this at the Ongoing Mobile West Africa 2015 conference in Lagos , Nigeria.

Ebele revealed to AndroidNigeria that Facebook is still sourcing for content partners and its very likely the app will be launched on more than one telecom provider.

Internet.org is a partnership between social networking service company Facebook and seven mobile phone companies ( Samsung, Ericsson , MediaTek, Microsoft, Opera Software , Reliance and Qualcomm) that
plans to bring affordable access to selected internet services to less developed countries by increasing affordability, increasing efficiency, and facilitating the development of new business models around the provision of Internet access.

Internet.org is already available in 4 African Countries ; Tanzania , Ghana , Zambia and Kenya.
