I don't think good governance should be included as it is the umbrella under which all other listed challenges can be accommodated. Given available resources, good governance in Nigeria will translate to resolution of all other issues of national importance. |

1) POWER (ELECTRICITY) SUPPLY - SUFFICIENT GAS SUPPLY, POWER GENERATION, TRANSMISSION & DISTRIBUTION. THIS SHOULD BE MADE PRIORITY AND WILL RESULT IN A WIN, WIN SITUATION FOR THE WHOLE NATION. 2) RAILWAY TRANSPORT BETWEEN THE NORTHERN AND SOURTHERN NIGERIA TO FACILITATE MASSIVE MOVEMENT OF GOODS (FARM PRODUCT, PETROLEUM PRODUCTS AND OTHER HEAVY DUTY ITEMS) BETWEEN THE REGIONS. FULL AND EFFECTIVE RAILWAY SHOULD BE PUT IN PLACE IN LAGOS STATE TO DECONGEST THE ROAD - TRANSPORT OF GOODS (PETROLEUM PRODUCTS, ITEMS FROM THE PORTS) AND MASS TRANSIT FOR PESSONNEL. |
