The rumour germinated from Recode, which claimed two unidentified sources familiar with the company had made the shocking revelation.

Nokia has now come out to discredit entirely, the reports as false and a figment of mere imagination. The company made its position known in a message posted on the Nokia website. “Nokia reiterates it currently has no plans to manufacture or sell consumer handsets,” the website states.

Microsoft acquired Nokia devices and service plants for $7.2 billion; the deal has a clause which prevents the Finnish company from using the Nokia brand on mobile phones until the fourth quarter of 2016.

To think that it’s possible for Nokia just wake out of the blue moon and start manufacturing mobile phones is totally not realistic, considering
