#DicksonPayOurOverSeasStudents. BBC set to run a documentary on the plight of BSSB students in the UK. Reports reaching me is that some students in the Bayelsa state scholarship scheme have been approached by the British Broadcasting Corporation to take part in a documentary aimed at bringing to the fore the suffering of Bayelsa state students in the UK. It was gathered that the attention of their correspondent was drawn to the issue by the rate at which Bayelsa state students applied for international crisis funds in their various universities. So far students being approached have been advised not to participate in the documentary as this will bring shame and disrepute to our state and the government. However the big questions is for how long can we persuade these students to be mindful of the reputation of their state when it seems the government does not care?
