I just checked for the possible flight options moving from lag to kano.
I found a flight on aero leaving on may 31 for 20k and another at arik for about 23k which leaves lag to kano on June 1st.
I will be booking arik on Monday...I would like to have a travelling partner.

brother first ask if the camp would be open on monday. If not then get early morning flight to kano. that at least you would be in kano 10.00 am
then from kano to jigawa which is just about 2hrs.

For newly deployed corp members going to Jigawa from Lagos; Board a Kano-destinated luxury bus at Oyingbo.

You can choose between G.U.O Group Motors, or preferably GOD BLESS EZENWANTA for #5,050 as at Jan. 2015. (their buses are new and fast).

Don't try boarding BESTWAY, or BONNYWAY (not really bad if you don't mind getting 'old' or having a boring journey). I no dey try spoil market for them o, experience dey talk say na d best teacher .

Drop at NGWUAN UKU there is a
park there and it is good for your
convenience.

At the park, board a car destined for dutse which costs about #600-#700. (N.B: there is nothing like jigawa bus). Dutse is approx. 2hrs from Kano and don't forget constantly reminding the driver that you would be alighting at the NYSC camp at Fanisau which is just beside the road and adjacent an ARMY BARRACKS.

NOTE: Lagos to kano is approx. 15 hours, dont get it twisted.

Now, to the aspect of the camp facilities; FABULOUS, i will say, except for issues as regards dust, high cost of commodities and high intensity of sun rays. These things are also obtainable in other nysc orientation camps, so no biggy.
N.B: Slimfitting of khaki is 1k flat, but price goes down to as low as #200 after swearing-in-ceremony.

I had this before my camp days, and I was so informed! that people were asking me at camp how did you know this?

we invite serving corp member in the group and we get information we need, before the camp we had already know what we we expect and we were cool!

This morning has been wonderful, We had a serving corp member in the room, and learnt a lot about him!

we shall continue to invite corp member from other states to the group before the camp begins!


Tonight we shall also tell u items u might need at camp! Dont miss ur Jeans Trouser coz u will need them for Jeans carnival!
