Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Emmanuel Ikpeme has revealed that federation is sparing no expenses to ensure the boys get quality preparations ahead of the FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand.
According to the federation’s scribe, the squad is now famous after its exploits in the United Arab Emirates, winning the U17 World Cup.

Incidentally, Coach Manu Garba and Nduka Ugbade who are now with U20 team both ruled the dugout at the world stage in the U.A.E championship while positioning the team for greatness.

“The team is now in Germany for their training camp and believe me when I say that they will play nothing less than two to three friendly matches before they leave”

“We are doing this because we know that that team is the team that all participating country will be looking out for and that’s why we said the team should go to Germany so that they can get quality teams to play in friendly matches”

The coaching crew has been given a long stick to work with as 30 players were allowed to travel, in which nine will be dropped and the final 21-man squad will proceed to New Zealand, all in the bid to create competition in the team.
The Flying Eagles of Nigeria departed the shores of the country on Wednesday to arrive in Germany Thursday morning.
