(1 Peter 1:16-17 AMP).

The Lord has so much interest in your integrity and reputation before men but not at the expense of the true representation of your life before God. A man who presents a fake identity of himself before men is only trying to mock the personality of God. Those who engage in this will never go unpunished. If it is difficult for you to live a righteous and a holy life; it is very much better for you to stay away from the things of God. This is because holiness is the major pre-requisite for walking with God (Psalm 24:3-4). Don't take pleasure in impressing men at the expense of doing God's will. When at the judgement bar, those that were impressed about your life will not be able to save you from eternal condemnation. Live your entire life to reverence God. Make use of every opportunity you have to honour and give glory to Him. The Lord will give us the grace to reverence Him all the days of your life in Jesus name. Amen!!!
