We are looking to hire an Account Officer.

Responsibilities of Account Officer
Be responsible for accurate keeping of records.
Helps in solving due accounts of the past.
Helps in improving pricing of item and of sales.
Reviews all the necessary documents to avoid disputes.
If any financial problem arises, it is his duty to look after the matter and solve it.
Looks for areas to cut the cost of the company. This helps in gaining profit.
Be responsible for communicating the customer for prompt payment of their debt.
Looks after the quality standards to ensure customers are satisfied with the products.

Job duties
Be in charge of all the accounts maintained in the company as assigned by the accountant.
Must maintain payments and receipts.
Ensure all the bills are paid properly.
Make sure that all the audit objectives and audit statements are responded to properly.
Look after weekly/monthly reports.

Skills
Comfortable with computer handling. Should know how to handle accounts through computer systems.
Must have booking and financial accounting skills.
Problem solving skills are necessary.
Professionalism is a must in every account officers.
Time management is compulsory.
Able to work with teams and lead during crisis.
Should work as office administrator.

Qualification
Should have a degree/diploma in accounting.
Must have experience of 1-3 years in retail environment.
