The Raspberry Pi is a cheap, durable, credit-card size micro computer with incredible capabilities. It can plug into your PC, TV, and other screen devices to allow you carry out your office processing tasks and can program your devices and appliances to behave the way you want them to. After exploring the capabilities of this device, I simply regard it as a problem solving machine. It sells us comfort, convenience, intelligence, data, empowerment, ideas, and the likes almost at no cost. I then, undauntly hold that this device is a must-get for every one, schools, churches, mosques, institutions, offices, homes, and in fact everywhere (even your 7 year old child). It’s about who gets it first, and when you do explore its maximum capabilities. I almost forgot to tell you that it has even been launched into space. Amazing right!
It happily also allows for programming in the most amazing and simple way. It can serve as your router, server, home theater, game board, gate opener, CCTV controller, recorder, tracker, virtual secretary, parent detector for weather stations, camera, etc. Its capabilities are just limitless.
Certainly one day cannot tell it all but can start it all! This training is geared towards introducing you to the Raspberry Pi, Linux operating system and Python programming language and then, follow-up trainings bring you to its exquisite appreciation.
