Eniola Aluko Is Set To Play For England At The Womens World Cup. Nigerian born female footballer and daughter of former senator (Gbenga Aluko), Eniola Aluko, will be playing for the England Women’s national team at the 2015 Women’s World Cup in Canada. The 28-year old who plays for Chelsea ladies, took to instagram on Monday to break the news. “It’s official – delighted to be selected for my 3rdWomen’s World Cup!!! So excited to get out to Canada now & hopefully do something special in an England shirt. Let’s go England #WWC #Canada” she wrote. Eniola, who is the sister of Hull city attacker and Nigerian international Sone Aluko, made her first appearance for England in 2004 at age 17, against the Netherlands, since then she has made 83 appearances and scored 26 goals for the Three Lionesses. |
