Copa America 2015 will he hosted in Chile this year. It will be hosted in 9 different stadiums or venues across 8 cities. It is worth noting that most stadiums are now being rejuvenated for Copa America.


Original, Copa America 2015 was to be hosted by Brazil, but later it changed to Chile, as CONMEBOL's rotation policy of football events opposed that decision and Chile was selected as the venue. Thanks to the CONMEBOL's policy which allowed football tournaments to be held in alphabetical order only. Thanks to the fact that Brazil hosted the 2014 FIFA World Cup, decision was taken that Chile will host Copa America. The Chile Copa America 2015 will be held in the following stadiums/venues:

1 Estadio Regional de Antofagasta.
2 Estadio Nacional Julio Martinez Pradanos.
3 Estadio Monumental David Arellano.
4 Estadio Elías Figueroa Brander
5 Estadio El Teniente
6 Estadio Germán Becker
7 La Serena - Estadio La Portada de La Serena
8 La Serena - Estadio La Portada de La Serena

Any time I see Chile hosting any event, It always remind me of the Carlos Dittbon word during rebuilding of the stadiums affected by the Valdivia earthquake which later became the slogan of the 1962 FIFA world cup.
