IT Trainee (Application Support Analyst) Surulere Lagos

Employee in this role works directly with users of SysServe software products and services as the primary point of contact for all technical issues relating to the products
which includes assistance, advice, problem solving, and technical information regarding the use of SysServe products; and act as liaison with customers regarding the status of their requests.
He/she will participate in user training, requirement gathering, ongoing product, research, testing, enhancement and implementation.

Responsibilities include:
 Complete understanding of our products and services (and the value they offer to clients).
 Analyze an issue, diagnose it and find its root cause and escalate unresolved issue
 Conduct user training sessions
 Participate in the design and production of user tutorials and training manuals.
 Participate in product demo and presentation
 Identify possible product improvement, and gather product enhancement request from users
 Participate in technical testing of applications
 Participate, and serve as liaison for Support Team, in client meetings relating to technical issues, product feature requests, and support/client relations
 Help train internal staff on technical and product issues

Ideal Personal Attributes
This position is ideally suited for a fresh graduate or NYSC Corps member with passion for technology looking to develop a successful career with a fast growing dynamic company. The individual must be a quick learner and possess a great technical support and interpersonal skills.

Experience and Qualifications:
 Customer service and support skill
 Hands-on experience with operating systems (Windows/Linux), networks and web applications
 Relevant professional certification e.g (MCP, CCNA, ITIL etc) would be an added advantage.
 Ability to handle and identify priorities for multiple projects at the same time
 Business development and technology sales experience an advantage
 Problem-solving skills
 Modify practices and procedures to meet individual client situations, suggesting workarounds as needed.
 Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 1+ years’ experience as a Technical Support Engineer or equivalent. Software solutions support preferred.
 Resides in Lagos.
 Web design/programming skill would be a huge advantage.
 Attention to details and confident decision making skills.
 Enthusiasm and high energy.
