Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas ruined his chances of breaking Thierry Henry’s Premier League assist record by getting himself sent-off versus West Brom. The Spanish midfielder was on course to overtake legend Henry’s record of 20 assists in one season, but this is now impossible. Fabregas, who was on 18 assists for the season, will miss the rest of the campaign as a result of his petulant red card for the Blues. This will make Arsenal fans very happy, after ex-Gunner Fabregas broke their hearts by signing for bitter rivals Chelsea last summer.
