another deadly line up that could be cool especially
in our second match:
/
..................................Enaholo........................................
/
Musa......Bello..........................Ndidi..........Mustapha /
......................I.Ifeanyi.............Sokari..........................
/
.................................Iheanacho...................................
/
Moses...........................................................success /
...................................Awoniyi.......................................
/
A risk worth taking
Great line up buh I tink play 2 strikers up front against brazil is a very big risk. I would rather like success to come off d bench for awoniyi (yahaya should replace success on d line up). Same also goes for moses, I tink bulbwa should raplace him on d line up. Dis is b/cos dis 2 has just had 1 training session wit d team and also jet-lag and fatigue form league matches could make starting dem counter productive.

In Brazil, the Flying Eagles face their stiffest opposition in the group stages. The Brazilian side is lacking in confidence having qualified for the mundial by finishing 4th at the Sudamericano Sub-20 tournament in Uruguay. After some stern and rather uncomplimentary words from Jose Maria Marin, the president of the Brazilian Football confederation (CFB), Coach Alexandre Gallos and his charges will be heading to Kiwi Land to try to prove a point.

Adopting a rather cautious approach this time round, Galos dropped all players he labeled as inexperienced and not lacking clear carrier paths, opting for a more experienced personnel. The Nigerian technical team would want to keep an eye in the heart of midfield where Manchester United’s Andreas Pereira and Atletico Paranaense’s Marcos Guilherme will be pitching their camps and firing ammunition at the Nigerian defense, while Real Madrid’s Jean Carlos and Fluminense little magician Kenedy will be sniffing around for mistakes from the backline and hoping to duly exact justice.

Nigeria has not actually done well in U 20 level so I don't see or expect any expectation or surprises from this team, remember this is not U 17 so if the coach likes gather all the players that won the last U17 cup, I stil believe they can't perform especially against all mighty Brazil

The trophy is already ourz

Please Mr. Coach don't keep Iheanacho on the bench

He is our Messi ....the fear of Nacho is the beginning of goals against Brazil

I'm with Manu on his decision to ease the old guns gradually into the team and the tournament as a whole. Nacho and the others will get their time in the sun as the show progresses, but for this particular game and for the sake of continuity and team chemistry, Awoniyi and his African youth champ goons should get the nod. We need all the luck we can get against in the tourney as it's the only youth championship we are yet to win.
Never again that 2005 lost final!
The world is Yours lads!!
Up flying Eagles!!!
