...THE NATIONAL PLEDGE...

Have just been thinking about our national pledge & how much
of it I have been able to keep to thus far as an individual.
How I wish each of us can ask ourselves this question in all
sincerity.
It's very easy to recite; with the hand raise or placed on the
chest.
Yet, quickly forgotten & the cycle continues.

I pledge to Nigeria my country.
To be faithful, loyal & honest.
To serve Nigeria with "ALL" my strength.
To defend her "UNITY".
And uphold her "HONOUR" & glory.
So help me God.

How I so much wish we all can put this to work, beyond the
quick & sweet-to-the-ear recitation!
As for me I have decided to fulfill this pledge; as I render my
services to this our dear nation Nigeria.

I trust God to always help me to.
And I know HE is ever ready to help me to.
