Premiership starts early this week with Manchester United playing their final game in hand against Fulham on Wednesday at Old Trafford, 20.00 GMT (9pm Nigerian time).

    Manchester United still sit atop the league table and a loss/draw won't take them down.  .  .but,there's no denying this is a sweet opportunity to put further distance between them and the rest of the chasers. Liverpool are only 2 points behind and there's no telling what could happen over the weekend.
    The Red Devils were in good form during their FA Cup game against Derby County, defeating them 4 - 1. We also witnessed the return of Patrice Evra, Rio Ferdinand and Johnny Evans. Wayne Rooney is still being preserved though. Sir Alex is unwilling to risk the United star till he's back to full match fitness, considering the important games coming up.  .  .still it's likely he gets some minutes of play on Wednesday.

Fulham are 10th on the table with 30 points. Their last Prem game against Wigan ended in a nil-nil draw; definitely Manager Roy Hodgson will be looking to avoid another,or worse, a loss. They should put up a good fight. Not expecting it to be easy for them though.

United are the favorites for this one.  .  .perhaps the clean sheet record will end this time.  .  .or not.
