I was given a research work to do @ my place of work, TOPIC: How to rack mount several desktops and connect their harddisks together to make a single storage. I'v done alot of browsing with no reasonable thing to write. I really need help as fast as possible thanks. |

Take resocorps advice. Adopt the raid level approach, but i doubt if your motherboard would support more than two hard drive. Another headache would be finding a motherboard hardware that would work seamlessly with your drives. Your boss simply wants to invite chaos as the system would be susceptible to a crash. |

Raid level is for mutiple disk as a single storage. U are already in networling bro. Research SAN or NAS also VDI storage( virtual destop infastucture) |
