I have been to the US consulate 3 times between 2003 and 2005 for a student visa,I did a thumbprint in 2005 but was refused a visa.I didn't go back again but I want to go for a conference in the US with my wife.but I did a change of my surname some years back.but all my other details in my passport are d same(my first name,middle and my date of birth)do I stand a chance of obtaining a visa.cos I can't lie to the consular about my previous visa 10 years ago. Any advice?
