LaurelP: LCC's commerce would be threatened by this. Trust them to prevent this. It can work. However, the city is already rough as it is, people are not really 'comfy' outside and while some may display courtesy, they a large percentage won't do anything with it; they may even use it to clean a dirty chair. You know, this strategy is just the same way those guys write URGENT VAVANCY on the wall and want you to 'work'. is the job looking for you or are you looking for a job I'd suggest going to the right places, meeting the right people and maximize your network at any location. People want someone who's created an impression, not someone who's begging and they'll only remember they're doing him/her a favor rather than the other way round. Lagos of today needs SERVICE; create value via your service. |

This could work in Nigeria. It definately won't work on Nigerian roads tho. It could work if the job seeker has a brochure of sorts instead of a regular CV and targets executives probably attending a conference or an elite gathering. That's if the person doesn't get bounced by security. |
