Gods1son: Yes, you have to apply like a new applicant. I doubt if admission is still on for fall but check with whatever school's site you intend to be admitted into. |

Yeah, I know adv diploma isn't the issue. But how many people have gotten visa with 3years adv diploma.. That I think is the issue... I have mailed the school and it seems I have headway gettin a new LOA stating fasttrack of 2years. That is exactly what colleges offer for guys with bsc... And I think that's what I need.. Just wanna know if changin a course in such a short time snt gonna shoot me...if not, how will I tender my case in my sop ChriGo: |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by Solo8(m): 1:10am On Jun 16, 2015 |
kushner: This will be hard to even get admission. Only a few school offer pharmacy and those schools get a lot of applications, I have a cpl of friends in pharmacy school. So make sure her grades and/or experience are outstanding. |

hayqinsbFX: If you don't end up reapplying for the student route right away, I'd advise you to try and travel as much as possible before your next application. To me that history matters, even people like team12 that is going for post grad, I noticed she had a noticeable travel history aswell. If you think I can help in any way, shoot me a msg anytime. |

ChriGo:I support you on this..Westerners think differently from Nigerians...application is indeed on a case by case basis. People have been given visas for what one will call a complete course miss-match and I have also met a dude from Nigeria with a degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering that still got a visa for a 2 year diploma in Electrical Engineering tech at Nait.. It's even in Canada that I first witnessed someone with a Phd in Chemistry from UBC return to college for a 2 year diploma in Chemical Engineering Tech (this one na canadian sha). 3 Likes |

hayqinsbFX:.....Yes the duration is most probably the issue.....if your sch offers 2yrs fast track then its good...but careful with the docx you submit....The more the documents, the more you keep the VOs thinking.....just add employment letter(no personal SOA biko ) and work on your letter of explanation popularly known as SOP .... 1 Like |

saxywale:....Yes there is totally nothing wrong in switching career but VOs no dey gree see that one for naija visa applicants....They have Zero tolerance for any Jet Li move on any application coming from Naija applicants .... hence the reason for the 51 weeks processing time....Haba!!!...They better not announce that visa is now been processed in Lagos else this thread fit go into extinction....Back then na storming and ranting at the embassy gate for Lagos dey do the Magic ...... 2 Likes |

ChriGo:at the Jet li move... na wah for canadian vo's ooo..They have been notorious on naija application from time immemorial...i remember back in 1999 when we dey hustle for university admission. One of my padi back in those days wey im papa get money like mad submitted application for an undergraduate degree in Canada...na so them return him package exactly the way he arranged it with a refusal letter, the funny thing be say them no even touch all the documents wey im submit, a sealed reference letter from his principal in high school was not even opened . na so we analyze that time sef say im be like say dem get quota to console my guy..i can see things haven't changed much..seems they are nice nowadays sha. 2 Likes |
