POSITION: INTERNAL AUDITOR

JOB SCHEDULES:
 Review the accuracy , reliability and completeness of transactions and financial statements in accordance with best audit practices
 Develop sound and practicable audit policies to safeguard the company’s assets.
 Conduct prepayment audit
 Conduct daily call over of accounting transactions/posting
 Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports on materials received and utilized for each job and report variances if any
 Put a process in place for monitoring/auditing daily completed production with regards to material usage in every department
 prepare weekly cost back reports to show profitability/Loss on each job
 Maintain updated database for items regularly purchased and set re-order levels for materials that are frequently used
 Work closely with the Finance unit to ensure stock accuracy and completeness at all times
 Ensure stocks are utilized on a FIFO basis
 Liaise with the external auditors on company audited accounts
 Review the operating environment on regular basis and make appropriate recommendations for improved performances
 Follow up the implementation of audit recommendations
 Ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets
 Communicate emerging issues, potential risks and audit findings to key stakeholders in a timely manner
 Conduct special investigations at management request
 Any other duties that may be assigned by management from time to time

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
 Bsc/HND Accounting with ACA
 5 years internal audit experience in an established manufacturing company
 Strong user of SAGE accounting software
 IFRS compliance
 High level of integrity
 Multitasking skills
