Business is not just making profit but also fulfilling all statutory obligations. Many Business in Nigeria have not been paying Tax either intentionally or due to their ignorance. I believe this forum can be used in educating the public on the importance of TAX remittance.
Taxes can be to the Federal Inland or the State internal revenue.
For Limited companies that have their year end as 31st Dec of every year, you are expected to remit your Tax returns on or before 30th June of the following year. Failure to do this will attract a fine of 25,000 the following month and 5,000 every other month.
