Nigeria may win marginally or it can be a barren draw.

yes, it's true we've beaten them twice but i'm sure dis time around dey will really expose amodu's ineptitude even if we win d game. he's (amodu) a "kalo kalo" coach!

I think it will be a draw or Nigeria will win it. We have more flare and skills than them. we just lack unity in the team and a good cooperation in the camp

Nigeria will never Qualify for the World Cup in South Africa because Nigeria is disgrace and a International Disgrace.

As a patriotic Nigerian, I will say that Eagles will win.
However, to be sincere with myself I am not expecting so much from them Eagles.

The team is not world class (consider the clubs they play for), and we have the worst
coach in history. Dull coach, dull moral, dull energy, dull technical intellect everything dull.
Football is beyond what is played on the pitch. A coach that is afraid to talk about victory affirmatively
is not worth it. If you can't motivate useless set of human being to do something great, it means you are
a poor leader. And that is what Amodu is. A poor leader and a poor coach.

I remember Onigbinde in his time as the eagles coach, widely criticized by Nigerians, but in my book he was
better than Amodu. He took over a team in 3months, took them to world cup and got what I will call a fair result for 3months old team
(0-1, 2-1 defeat and 0-0 draw). Despite the result, I saw energy in the players and I saw fluidity in the field of play.
How I wish our fire brigage NFF had allowed him to stay a little longer. Now see what we have, a slowpoke sorry to say, as a National coach

Eagles hit camp:
Ten Super Eagles players trooped into the Hilton Hotel Cobham in London on Wednesday morning, ahead of Friday’s international friendly match against the Republic of Ireland.

Led by the injured pair of Dickson Etuhu and Danny Shittu, early arrivals include new invitee Sone Aluko, who plays for Aberdeen in the Scottish Premier League, as well as Spain-based midfielder Kalu Uche, Inter Milan’s Obinna Nsofor and Club Brugges' Joseph Akpala.

There are also defenders Ayodele Adeleye, Yusuf Mohammed, Sam Sodje and Olubayo Adefemi. More players were being expected tonight.

Friday’s match, which will bring to Nigerians sweet memories of previous wins over Republic of Ireland in another friendly prior to the World Cup finals in 2002 and at the invitational Unity Cup Tournament in London in 2005, will be played at the Craven Cottage home of Fulham FC.

NFF President Sani Lulu Abdullahi also arrived in London on Wednesday evening, and is scheduled to meet with the players alongside Minister/Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Engineer Sani Ndanusa at lunch on Thursday. Time is 13h00.

The weather is cold with showers of rain, and the team will have its first training on Thursday at the match venue, by 6pm. It is one hour drive from the hotel.
