CALABAR – FORTY EIGHT hours after Pastor Seyi Adekunle, the Winners Church pastor for Airport branch Calabar was abducted, his abductors are demanding for 80million naira ransom before his release.

The kidnappers according to a source in the church made a phone call with the pastor’s phone at about 9pm on Monday, to one of the pastors in the church demanding for the sum of 80 million naira before pastor Adekunle will be released.

” The people used Pastor Seyi”s phone to speak with one of our pastors at about 9 pm on Monday night and allowed him speak to assure us that he is alive before one of them said if we want our pastor back we should give them the sum of 80 million naira’.

“Nothing has been offered the people yet as the discussion was very brief before the phone was switched off but our pastors are meeting to know what next to do”.

Meanwhile, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, in Cross River State has warned those who seized him on Saturday night that they are incurring the wrath of God on themselves with their action

hahaha ahaha ahhaahha ahahah God will collect his due whether the Church is robbed, broke or on borrowed funds... e no concern am. It never has.. Church People abeg Pay up the N80 milla.. sharperly. I am sure the money will be split between some special Church members in the racket, the police and the kidnappers.. pay-up and get double next sermon after the pastor is miraculously released

If i was on the investigating team, my first first suspect is the pastor that was called. I'm I'm hundred percent sure someone on the inside is coordinating the hit. Pastor, deacons are not exempted.
