Sunshine Stars will this evening play host to Warri
wolves at the Akure Township Stadium in a
rescheduled week 12 match of Nigeria Professional
Football League.
Ahead of this encounter, Warri wolves team of 18
players and officials departed Warri to Akure on
Wednesday morning , to keep a date with Akure
gunners in week 12 match of the Nigeria
Professional Football.
Sunshine Stars who rank number 2 on the league
table with 20 points bellow Giwa FC after week 11
League matches will hope to accumulate the
maximum points to remain on the top spot
Warri wolves will play today's match without the
services of their hit man Gbolahan Salami and their
top defender Azubuike Egwuekwe who did not
travel with the team.
The last five previous meeting between the two
sides produced 2 wins for each club and a draw.

Moses in a chat to News24 Nigeria has
expressed confidence as his team left Warri for
Akure on Wednesday morning that the Seasiders
are optimistic of picking at least a minimum
point in Akure. "It's quiet unfortunate that we couldn't make it
to the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup
but we've moved on and you saw the focus and
intent of the team in that week 11 home win
against Kano Pillars, “Etu told News24 Nigeria
"We aren't playing in the Federation Cup, which
means we've got to focus on the league if Warri
Wolves want to get back to play on the
continent. As we leave for Akure, our target is to
at least get a mi I mum point in Akure," Etu said
confidently.
Etu informed that a team of 18 players and
officials left Warri for Akure on Wednesday
morning. The list of players that left are : Akpeyi
Daniel, Eriose Tega, Kwambe
Solomon,Ogagotewho Oke, Onamado Goodluck,
Ojo Mine, Ichull Lordson, Itoya Kelvin, Dimgba
Stanley, Egbeta Michael, Omodiagbe Emmanuel,
Semiu Liadi, Osadiaye Joseph, Alimi Sikiru,
Okoyoh Michael, Onyekachi Okafor, Ibenegbu
Ikechukwu and Abu Azeez.
