that is not a good idea,op should jst hard reset the phone or update the gallery application.

Tecno H7, I'm not sure maybe it force closes but it won't deliver messages until i open WhatsApp b4 messages start rushing in

maybe you are using task killers like battery doctor, greenify or clean master. If u are usin one of those apps, add ur whatsapp to ignore list and u ar gud to go

bro i use a sony wic u can update d music player,album and also video app and note all r system apps,if d samsung in question has an update notification for the system apps then u can do that. If not he can clear the data and force close the gallery application from the application manager.

I'm using Clean master nd SuperSU, i have tried to put WhatsApp under ignore list, but it's confusing....

Thats for Sony, we are talkin Samsung here and there's no such updates for samsung. Like I've said earlier, I dnt tink hard reset can fix it. @Op go to sammobile and download the phone firmware. Shikenah#

1. It might be network.
2. Go to Data Usage, scroll down to WhatsApp, click on it, check maybe restrict background settings is not ticked. If it's ticked, un-tick it. Your WhatsApp should work fine now

Try Battery Doctor and Greenify. NOTE: Add whatsapp and Bbm etc to ignore list. You can backup ur clean master and install it whenever you want to use it
