This hotel was the location for Weekend Getaway which was released in 2012. It features top casts in Nollywood industry like Ramsey Nouah, Ini Edo, Genevieve Nnaji and Monalisa Chinda. The story evolves round a bored bachelor meeting his online love, a married couple looking to revive the spark in their relationship and a wealthy cougar descending upon the tropical paradise for a weekend getaway.
2) Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills, USA

The hotel was featured prominently in the 1990 film - Pretty Woman. In the film, Julia Roberts plays Vivian Ward, a Hollywood prostitute who's hired by Richard Gere's wealthy businessman character. Their relationship develops over their week-long stay in the Presidential Suite at the hotel. There were scenes of couple soaking in the suite’s luxurious tub to Vivian walking through the lobby with numerous bags from shopping on nearby Rodeo Drive.
3) Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Some scenes from Furious 7 were shot in this hotel. The movie is a 2015 American action film starring Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Kurt Russell, and Jason Statham. The scene of the crew walking down the hotel stairs was shot here. The skyscraper stunt where Dom (Vin Diesel) and Brian (Paul Walker) jumped from one building to the next was shot at Etihad Towers.
4) The Palace of the Lost City Hotel in Sun City, South Africa

The romantic comedy Blended starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore was filmed in 2013 at South Africa’s Lost City at Sun City. Scenes of both parents (Andrew and Drew) with their kids were shot at the resort’s animal park, within the Palace of the Lost City hotel, on the hotel’s pool terrace and in the Crystal Court restaurant. The singing “Tatoo” added a hilarious twist to the movie.
5) The Waldorf Astoria in New York City, USA

The hotel was built in 1931 (then the tallest and largest hotel in the world). It has featured in so many prominent movies like Scent of a Woman in the 1992 and the hilarious Coming to America in 1988, where Eddie Murphy who played the role of Prince Akeem goes to the hotel. Other movies filmed at this famous spot include Serendipity, Maid in Manhattan, The Royal Tenenbaums and Analyze This.
