My fellow programmers, I am a University undergraduate (Computer Science) student and by next month I will be starting my six months SIWES programme. My passion has always been how I can be a guru and consultant in web development though I have little but useful knowledge on HTML and CSS.
Now I am thinking of paying some amount of money (N81,000.00 precisely) to learn PHP and MySQL at NIIT(now CCT IT), Akure, Ondo State. Please how can you advise me in this regard.

One thing about Programming is! having someone teach you doesn't make you a guru.

If you are paying that much to learn PHP and MySQL then you are not doing the right thing.

There are loads of Youtube Videos on PHO and MYSQL out there, It'll take you about 1,000 Naira to go to the cafe and download them..

It's way cheaper and you get to learn from the start.

and if that's not working for you. It means you are not interested in programming, even if you wished to be a guru.. Trust me, I'd tried my luck on PHP and MYSQL don't find any joy in that. So i moved to Cyber-Security and Ethical Hacking which i'm loving to learn each day.

P.S Just choose what you love and learning it will be easy. and just DOWNLOAD the videos instead of paying someone to just do introduction for you and give you the same video to go watch and learn
