I hate ecobank, the manner at which they deduct your money for unnecessary things is not friendly at all. I decided to stop banking with them so I left #1500 in the account around March last year. They keep deducting the money and now it remains just #32.xx. Even to maintain their atms they still charge customers. The ones that will never deduct your money unnecessarily among those I've used so far 1. Gt bank 2. First Bank 3. Fidelity bank. 1 Like |

Banks are supposed to be brains behind business successes. Two key areas are providing micro economic funds to SMEs and helping turn around wealth through investments banking. Nigerian banks are failures in these areas but many of them make money through forex, courting politicians and oil lifting all of which are high volatile and negatively impacting the economy. Am an advocate of community banking that will enable rural populace access funds to tackle farming, promote apprenticeship and help ideas cumulate into testimonies, where are those banks? Nigerian banks collect funds from the poor and help to fund the rich, who are those bank debtors that killed all the good banks, the rich what about PFAs, these are just avenues of making the rich richer in Nigerian system. Government must evolve real banking system that will fund projects and ideas within the economy, with oil, 160million people we should have the largest bank in Africa 1 Like |
