NIGHTFALL IN MARS
Its all red mud
and spaceships
As dusk descends
upon neverland
With rings of dust Circled in unending
Flight

The stars glisten like
Swarovskis welded in
diamonds
A city made of rust
Beautiful rust
Immersed in the Luscent beam of the
Moon and its
rays shimmering
Through like ice on silk
The taste of metal in The air
As it snows upon Olympus
With asteroids in orbit
And comets in flight
Like fireflies upon
The boulevards of Manhattan

As dusk gives way to Dawn
I gnaw at the Clutches of slumber
I reminisce
The beauty of a city Made of rust
Its golden streets and
Bright lights
