The Lizard Scenario


I had an experience recently that has
shaped my perception about how to face
difficulties and life challenges... I was
walking by along a quay, I saw a lizard and I
decided to threaten it so it could fall into the
water.
At first, the lizard was scared and decided to
run. But when it got to a point that it could
no longer move forward because of the
water, it had no option than to face me.. At
that point, I get scared myself and I decided
to give way so it could pass.
Few minutes later I began to think about the
confidence the lizard had to face me and I
realised it was a challenge I put to it and it
had no option than to face it otherwise, it
will die in the water... Life is full of difficulties
and challenges and rather than for us to run
to people for help or stay lamenting, it is
better we summon courage and face it just
like the lizard did...
So many people in life build their destiny
themselves. Whatever challenges life throw
at you, make the bold step today and begin
to face it and I can assure you with the help
of God, you will succeed at the end! It
doesn't matter how you start, the end shall
justify the means.
