A friend of mine always think she understand English. She asked me to go and check something for her in the room may be is complete or not and she sat outside. On my way back, I said" I have checked 'it's completed. She immediately responded that is totally wrong to say that. That I shld have said"it's complete instead of saying completed. Argument started bla bla bla. Pls which one is correct?
