We are in the Ramadan season and a lot of Muslims are fasting either by force or willingly. I believe that if the benefits of fasting is eminent, we should be in wealth and not poverty. That is of course if the benefit is wealth. I really wish I could know more about the bbenefits of ramadan and fasting in general. Hope you guys can help out.

There is no evidence that RCC formed Islam; just pure speculation with no credible source to back it up. I'm more inclined to say that it was Nestorian Christians who influenced the development of Islam, along with Sabeians, Jews, Zoroastrians, Heliogabalans, and Arab polytheists.

The Ramadan fast is not a true fast in any sense. All Muslims do is shift the meals from the daytime to the nighttime. And going 12+ hours without drinking water is not good for the health. However it can teach some discipline to avoid eating whenever one is hungry.
