Our client, a company providing onshore/offshore Services including vessels charter and other support services in the oil/gas industry, seeks engage immediate employment of Masters for their oil vessels.

Job Description:
As Captain you are responsible for operating the vessel and its crew safely and efficiently, so that commercial and operational targets are met. You prepare the voyages and projects and are responsible for manoeuvring and navigating the vessel safely and efficiently. You lead the crew, so that they know their responsibilities and are able to carry them out to the best of their ability. You create a good atmosphere, harmony, order and tidiness on board to ensure a hygienic and comfortable working environment.

Job requirements

> Licence; Master (unlimited) with oil/chemicals endorsement
> Knowledge of vetting and inspections
> Experience of ice shipping is an advantage
> Good communication skills
> Good command of the English language, spoken and written
> Good knowledge of ISO/ISM/TMSA regulations
> Practical experience with a computer, Word and Excel
