We are recruiting for the below position:

Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager
Job type: Full Time
Location: Trade fair Lagos, Nigeria

Job Description:
The marketing manager manages the day to day marketing activities of the organisation and long term marketing strategy for the company. Job duties are but not limited to;
Role Summary:
• Prepare, implement sales and marketing plan, programme and budget both short and long range to ensure profitable growth
• Formulate and execute category brands and portfolio strategy for both new and existing products
• Execute all communication initiatives
• Collaborates with the MD in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the company.
• Manages an assigned geographic sales area or product line to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
• Establishes and manages effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise and train sales personnel.
• Work with communication agencies, associates, consultants and all external and internal stake holders to deliver the right marketing mix to consumers/shoppers in keeping with the organizational goal
• Lead ideation and innovation effort that meets business and brand objectives.
• Lead all consumer/shoppers and market research initiatives
• Analyse consumer trend, category and market dynamics, internal data and competitive intelligence thereby influencing organization and category strategy
• Develop deep understanding of consumer/shopper motivation and reflect this in all products communication that emanates from the company
• To be responsible for developing and maintaining sales and marketing strategies to meet agreed company objectives.
• To evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implement marketing and sales plan alterations as needed.
• To oversees all marketing, sales, advertising and promotional staff and activities.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Applicants must possess/satisfy the following conditions:
• First Degree in Marketing,Economics, Business administration or other Sales/Marketing/ business related course from a reputable tertiary institution
• Membership of Sales/Marketing or a related professional body is desired
• Must possess a minimum of 2 years cognate experience in Sales/marketing and brand management in an FMCG or a Luxury goods environment
• Applicant must have the requisite managerial skills and good knowledge of Sales and Marketing
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Power point
• Must have an excellent presentation skill and budget management skill
• Must be able to develop deep consumer insight and reflect this in Sales and marketing plan
• Must be very outgoing and trendy
• Professional appearance and demeanor, high level of business acumen, exceptional leadership, interpersonal, motivational and managerial skills with a mastery in written communication and presentations
• A good understanding of -and enthusiasm for beauty and fragrances is an added advantage
• Ability to work flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business
• Be ready to give the ideal energy needed on the role
