Bratking:You must really love this phone. But how come whenever I see users, they are always complaining about flat battery? Many of them don't even use the finger print scanner. And who says Lg doesn't give updates? G2 came out with jellybean 4.2.2 later upgraded to kitkat 4.4.2, then to lollipop 5.0.2 and soon to be upgraded to lollipop 5.1.1. G3 came out with kitkat and it's already upgraded to lollipop 5.0.2 and surely will receive Android M. So I don't understand why u mentioned them as those that don't give updates or because they don't give incessant and irrelevant updates? Besides, s5 is very hideous ; the ugliest Samsung flagship in recent times. |
Re: The Truth About Infinix Hot Note/pro Battery by Bratking(m): 12:38pm On Jul 10, 2015 |
donhils: The beautiful thing about S5 is that you can always swap the battery (flat or otherwise) with a new one period. so that's not a real problem or issue. LG does have a problem with updates, especially when it comes to their G pro series. I don't know much about the G series however. Calling any updates whether minor or major irrelevant is tantamount to shiiting on the whole OTA business. updates are there to help you, by fixing bugs and generally improving UI integration. In this instance Samsung is king. Hideous?? who cares really? What matters is what is within. S5 packs a wallop. |

Op you don't need a second party to tell you that a ba3 which has a capacity of 4000mAh won't last long enough. |

donhils:I use the phone too, the battery lasts for a very long time, sometimes I can be on 3g for a whole day (without browsing) but maybe 12 or so hours when browsing. And the charger can charge the phone to full bars in just less than 2 hours. The only set back is no other charger/Power bank can charge the phone battery to its full capacity for that short period except it's own charger (as a result of its high battery capacity 4000mah). Why do you need a power bank anyway? Once you charge the phone battery to its full capacity it's guaranteed to last for the whole day no matter how heavy the usage is. It's a very nice phone, for heavy Internet users. |

olanreyman:You didn't understand what I wrote perhaps. In reply to your remark about people not talking about the hot note poor ram management, I said NOT IF you have the pro with 2GB RAM, and that with it, multitasking has never been sweeter. How you interpreted that to mean the pro has poor ram management too, beats me. I simply meant you wouldn't be bothered about poor ram management when you are using the pro. How can multitasking be at its sweetest when the RAM is poorly managed like you assumed? I pause hd games regularly and return to them after doing other stuff, and they are always intact. So I wonder what you are talking about. |

jworos: bro, it sure has enough juice than ur gionee m2... lemme give u small gist... the 8 mp camera of d infinix pro is 12 mp compared to gionee m2 8mp... the ram is bigger... the internal storage is 4 times gionee m2... the battery capacity is exactly same as gionee m2... no let +200 mah deceive u... na still d same thing... gionee m2 takes almost 5 hrs to charge full, infinix pro takes about 2 hrs... and the clearest difference: gionee m2 is actually a black and white fone compared to d infinix pro... it sure has enough juice than ur gionee m2... I have a gionee m2 so am talking out of experience... still looking for a buyer, ever since I got ma infinix pro, ma gionee m2 became useless... |

Hello Everyone. I got an infinix hot note 2weeks ago, and ever since , the battery has not been lasting me for so long as being posted here. It last me for about 8hrs, on continuous usage i.e phone idle 0%. (I don't really do much on it) I only read stuffs online. but I do have so many apps running on it like whatsapp, badoo, fb messenger, uc, e.t.c PLUS its always on 3G. Could this be the reason why its running so fast? Or what should I do pls. But it last well if I'm not on the phone 24/7 |

Re: The Truth About Infinix Hot Note/pro Battery by elfibar(m): 10:59pm On Jul 30, 2015 |
I have been using infinix hot note pro for three weeks now and I can say it's better compared to other high end Android phones.... On 2g, the phone is guaranteed to use a day..... With 3G, it will last for at least 8-10hrs,with rigorous browsing coupled with other activities on the phone. If the 3G is on without any stressful browsing, it will last for at least, 14hours... Regarding charging, it takes 1hr45mins maximum to be full(0-100%). 1 Like |

donhils: Very correct I I use the phone and can boast of full 20 hours on full internet use plus media another exictin tin about the hot note is the charger charges from 0 to 100% in 30 mind..... really cool |
Re: The Truth About Infinix Hot Note/pro Battery by donhils: 12:29am On Jul 31, 2015 |
Enockia:Abia. Even Infinix didn't claim it could charge like that. They said it can charge 70% in 30mins. However this is not always true cos by the time u subtract energy loss to the cable u'll see it can't get to that 70% in 30mins. Also, know that most phones slow down charging speed once it reaches 80% or 75% in some. So if that ur phone charges real fast, u'll top it from 0% to 100% in at least 1hr 30mins. Stop exaggerating. |

cosycee:YOU should've charged it now, that's a basic requirement if you want to enjoy the phone battery life fully. But anyway, you're still safe. You know what you're going to do now, drain the phone battery (or anyhow you want) till there's no more power on the phone (till 0%) and then plug it and don't switch it on till its 100%, you will get the full battery life again. I'm about to sell my 12000mah power bank now lol. It's kind of useless. |
