This list of most viewed YouTube videos
consists of the 30 most viewed videos of all
time as derived from YouTube charts.
Videos that YouTube suspects have had their view counts manipulated are not included in this list. Viewcounts are based on the YouTube
website; many of the videos are music videos
that play through YouTube's partner site, Vevo,
and YouTube viewcounts will lag those of Vevo
by a few days.


The most viewed video is the music video for Psy's 2012 single "Gangnam
Style" , which has been viewed over 2 billion
times. As of July 8th, 2015, four videos have
received over 1 billion views, all of which are
music videos: " Gangnam Style" by Psy, "Baby" by Justin Bieber featuring Ludacris, "Dark Horse" by Katy Perry featuring Juicy J and Blank Space by Taylor Swift.

viral video; it surpassed "Evolution of Dance" to
become the most viewed video in October
2009. "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)" is the official 2010 FIFA World Cup anthem.
"Gentleman" is the most watched video in a
single day (38 million views on April 14, 2013). Some videos may not be available worldwide
due YouTube regional restrictions in certain
countries.
"Dark Horse" became the third video to reach 1 billion views on June 22, 2015, and the first
featuring a female recording artist. It had
already reached 1 billion views on Vevo on June 9, but YouTube only updated the view count on June 22. "Blank Space" had reached 1 billion views on Vevo on July 3, 2015. It had reached 1
billion views on YouTube on either July 7 or July 8, 2015.
I "Roar" had reached 1 billion views on Vevo on
July 7, 2015. As of yet, YouTube has not
updated the number.
