Inspired by the many debates about art vs science degrees/A Levels. Why do so many people view science as more important than art? I know cars, electricity, computers, basically everything in modern life is all thanks to science but what's the point in all this technology if you can't enjoy art, music, books, etc? I don't think one is more important than the other and I don't think studying one is more impressive or worth more than the other. This thread isn't about what is harder or softer but the importance they hold. Do you think science (or art) is more useful to society?
