This is to inform prospective students and the public in general that Jamb has suddenly come up with a new eligibility regulation whereby students that scored upward of 200 marks in 5 (five) top Nigerian universities are being posted to other mostly private universities.
The top 5 universities include Unilag, OAU, Unilorin, Uniben and a yet to be confirmed institution. Though the Federal Government set the new JAMB cut-off score at 180, unfortunately, applicants to these affected universities who scored 200 and above may not do the post-UTME exam let alone being admitted.

Accordingly, JAMB has shortlisted 9,937students (out of over 30,000 applicants) for Unilag's Post-UTME and 18,324 students from Unilorin by using different cut off marks like 220,240,250& 255 for diferent courses & catchment area.

This is a very illegal move which MUST be fought against. So for those who opt for these universities in their utme, hurriedly go to your school portal to see things for yourself.

This implies that thousands of students who passed their UTME examination & applied for these universities will be denied admission.

Whether or not this is a move in the right direction, Nigerian Students, decide!

That's right thinking, my dear. It's good to have people like you around. I thought in that same direction too.
Last year I was personally forwarded to Madonna University by JAMB, but guess what, after one semester, I began to regret my being there and even had to do another UTME that has now brought me to CRUTECH. The main reason I left Madonna was the financial involvement: 126000 for just one semester, imagine!
