12 killed in Nigeria market blast IANS | Abuja Jul 26, 2015 05:50 PM IST

At least 12 people were killed in Nigeria's Damaturu city after a blast rocked a market on Sunday, witnesses said.

Dozens were injured in the blast which rocked Damaturu Sunday Market, according to Malik Garba, the man who assisted the injured before rescuers arrived, Xinhua reported.

It is unclear whether the incident was a suicide attack.
