Bobbi Kristina Brown, the tragic daughter legendary artist Whitney Houston and R&B singer Bobby Brown, died on Sunday at a hospice center in Georgia, a report said.
“She is finally at peace in the arms of God,” the Houston family told Entertainment Tonight on Sunday night.
It’s been six months since the 22-year-old Brown had been found unresponsive in the bathtub of her Georgia home. In that half year, she’s been cared for at four facilities, including Atlanta’s Emory University Hospital where she was placed in a medically induced coma.
She succumbed while surrounded by her family at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia on Sunday, according to ETonline.com,
Bobbi Kristina grew up in the spotlight and was only 18 years old when her superstar mother met a similar fate, dying in a bathtub in her Beverly Hilton Hotel suite in Feb. 2012.
“Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition has continued to deteriorate,” grandmother Pat Houston had told Entertainment Tonight the day she was transported to hospice.
“We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God’s hands now.”
