Synopsis: Kombi(Queen Nwokoye) and Stella(Onyii Alex) are disowned by their parents for their waywardness and sent out of the house. They left for the city to seek greener pasture and are bent on making money through prostitution. They go to their one time friend, Manuella(Uche Ogbodo) to help them achieve wealth the way she did it. But Emmanuella leads them through a tale of lies and deceit and plans to offer them as sacrifice to the god of unclothedness who is the source of her wealth. If only they knew what was in store for them. Are they willing to pay the price? Will Manuella succeed in killing them? Find out the answers to these questions in this amazingly written movie. Brief Review: Queen Nwokoye who plays the role of Kombi steals the screen and the audience with her hilarious act. She translates the role perfectly well and will definitely give you the laughs you need to ease the tension. This is something different from what we see everyday and very unpredictable which is so unlike nollywood. I know how much we hate to know the end from the beginning. It kills all the suspense. PokaMessiah does not fall in that category. It keeps your eyes glued to the screen till the last scene. It is a recommended watch for everyone. MOVIE REVIEW – Motherless Master This story by Fedelis Emeka centers on the act of giving in a modern society that is characterized by lazy youths who abuse the purpose for which the act of rendering help to the needy was made. In times like this, we as Christians require the divine help from the teachings of our beliefs and the producer Nweke David employs the use of strong characters like himself, Christy Okonkwo, Jimlawson Maduike, and a host of others to drive home the point.
