Some Yoruba Subgroups like the Ondos in the pictures below use them, but it is as a result of Bini influence, so I am wondering if the same can be said of some Igbo groups.

There is nothing bad about loins cloth if that is what is making you grin like an idio-t. This is a covering worn in Africa and Asia. Considering the weather in both continents,this cloth is more or less comfortable.
