To be candid am surprised seeing farmers in low financial condition.
At times we even forgot the fact that we were meant to be the riches people on earth because each lively bird you have in your farm is a money for you.

You may asked why is it that have been in this business for quite some time without having any thing to show for it.
Don't worry I will tell you the reasons just at the end if this.

Imagine you venturing into something you wish to make money from without being serious in it now let me tell you the things you may do that makes you unserious.

1.you rarely have time for your farm just leaving it at the mercies of some careless worker .

2.venturing into poultry business because you see you friend doing it or your uncle nor even brother. Without knowing the real concept that follows it.

3.practising quackery.how much do u thing will cost you to consult a professional like a vet if you are really serious in what you are doing instead you keep quessing drugs to administers to your birds when they fail sick even without knowing the recommended doeses .

4.no farm record at all. You just keep on buying feeds everyday and drugs without knowing the number if bags you have spent so farm let assumed you fed your birds with 7bags of starter during the early stage and about 15+bags till maturity + the drugs you bought so far.
Now your birds have all mature you just start selling it at any price tag like 1200 or 1000 without knowing if you are making profit or norm with this you will keep on rearing bird without any positive financial upliftment.
What you need to do is calculate everything together and divide by the number of chick's you have then add your gain to the amount.
