[center]Let's, here, rummage the rubble,
walk through shards of hopes smashed
on the threshold, or trudge through
wilted cannisters of countless stillbirths.
Years ago.

Now that the putrid fumes of withered dreams
whirl and curl like Cain's smoke in the forgotten
distance,
now that the chequered rhythms of our common quests
are futile thunderclaps in the cloudbanks
of the distant past,let's sit, friend,
in this vast nest and look back to the
distance yesterday.[/center]
