I can use 1 ball of yeye wool to make an adult head warmer

Hi, I love your work, it's rekindling my love for knitting, I used to knit several years ago but stopped because I felt it was a waste of time, seeing this really inspired me once again.
Please can you tell me the kind of crochet pins you use, cos I don't see myself using those small ones, they take a lot of time. Thanks.
