The meaning seekers...

In life, there are basically three kinds of people:

The money seekers
The pleasure seekers, and
The meaning seekers.

Of these three, the meaning seekers are the people that adds immense value to life in general. The meaning seekers strive to give their best not to make money, but to crave a tinge sense of fulfilment that they played their parts in making the world a sane plane.

But in every meaning seeker I have met, there seems to be a little, nagging issue plaguing them: they are overtly concerned about how people perceive their works. In my opinion, that's a good thing. Since they care much about adding value and meaning to people's lives, they should be concerned with the quality of works they produce.

But here's one advice to all meaning seekers:

You are responsible for what you do - the works you create and the stories you tell - but you don't have ultimate control over the outcome of what you do. Some will like your works, others will love you and embrace you, still others will despise and curse you for doing what you do.

The most important issue herein is how you respond to what others say to you or how they react to your works. You can either hide from criticisms or you can embrace them and use them as a stepping stone to do better and brilliant works. The choice is entirely yours.

The real hard work about adding value involves embracing uncertainty, working despite your nagging fears and embracing responsibility before it is given to you.

As long as you keep walking and working, your audience will naturally gravitate to you because you add meaning to their lives..
