The Super Eagles will tackle their Nigerien

Harcourt on September 8, the NFF has
disclosed via a press release.

The Federation are in talks with the Rivers State
Government to have the match at the Adokiye
Amiesiamaka Stadium.

“The truth is that we still have a few loose ends to
tighten, before we can say that the match is sealed, ”NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, told thenff.com

“Of course, we have confirmation from the Niger
Football Federation that they have accepted to play
the Super Eagles.”

The friendly between the two West African nations
takes place three days after the Super Eagles square

qualifier.

Nigeria and Niger settled for a goalless draw when
they last met in an international fixture in Niamey on August 15, 2012.

how have the mighty fallen. we should play friendly matches with countries ranked higher than us but because our football is becoming a joke, we have to settle for Niger. I prefer we play with better countries that'll expose our loopholes so that we can go back to the drawing board and make necessary corrections.
