For the pre-degree programme

What is pre-degree?

Pre-degree as the name implies is a programme ran by the centre for distance learning of OAU, for university first degree seekers, it runs for 9 months and within this months the students are taught rigorously by lecturers of the institution.

On what basis are students assessed and their admission process?

The 9 months are divided into two contacts and for every contact students are assessed with a test and examination. At the end of the second contact, final results are released based on students performance for the whole programme and favourable cutoffs are set to determine students that had their desired courses. But a general pass mark of 60% which if passed by any student is guaranteed of being admitted.

How is this more secured than the post utme?

Firstly students are taught rigorously by lecturers and are assessed based on the teachings given.
Secondly, unlike putme that don't admit all students above 200, predegree admits all aspirants that have above the 60%.

How can i be assured that i will be admitted into the pre-degree programme?

As part of of programs, TrustWit will be organising an enlightening programme which will include prep classes on the predegree entrance subjects. This will be emphatically published later.

Once again, you are to be reminded of the current ongoing sale of forms for the pre-degree programme which costs #15500 inclusive of bank charges at any of these banks : First bank, Skye bank, Zenith bank, UBA, Access bank among others. We will also be assisting in the purchase of forms and registration.

After purchase of forms an entrance exam will be conducted by the CDL, its on this basis that students will be admitted into the programme. As part of our programme to ensure that all students that comes or register through TrustWit OAU gets admitted to the pre-degree programme, we will be organising an enlightening programme which include intensive preparatory classes days before the entrance examination.

Accommodation will be available for those who would like to enrol for the preparatory classes but do not have a place to stay and also for those who will be coming for the examination a day before their exam.

Dokdave u must be an expredite I suppose...I attended TrustWit and I came out wif a good result..I'll advice any predegree aspirant to prepare hard or better still get regitered into a gud tutorial centre..one lyk TrustWit is perfect..as they don't only teach based on PPT...deyy also enlighten more on the CBT exam..which d entrance exam is gonna be based on...and d final mock exam I wrote was a cbt based test.if dere'z anyy tutorial I can pledge for..it would be TrustWit...#IREPTrustWit

Accommodation will be available here on campus for those that stay far behind and will like to attend the preparatory classes. Also past questions is being sold here on campus, so you can get that only if you have a link to get to campus.

Why that is not feasible is because the recents exams are CBT based. Getting the past questions and putting it in that format will be almost impossible

PROCEDURE ON HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE PRE-DEGREE PROGRAMME

The method for applying for the pre-degree this year is a bit different from subsequent years. The method involves the use of your ATM or Debit card.

Firstly, Go to the pre-degree portal oaucdl.edu.ng/pre and proceed to create an account.

Secondly, After the creation of your account, you should please cross-check to ensure all provided information is correct and valid.

Thirdly, Then proceed to payment, there are two options available; via the webpay or the card system, for ease of use we recommend the card payment method. Choose your card type from: Interswitch, Mastercard, or Verve.

Lastly, Type in your card details, but before submission please ensure you have your phones nearby as a code will be sent to you via your mobile phone in which should be used immediately for confirmation of payment on the website.

To get in contact with your aspiring predites and ex-predites and also to follow up with our programmes, a Whatsapp group has been created to serve that purpose. Drop your numbers so you can be added.

Hello everyone, its being a while,

First and foremost, we want to apologise for our dormancy lately, our reasons is due to the ongoing examinations on campus which had halt our proceedings and activities planned by us. But in spite of this we have been quick in giving out in-time responses to those who reached us via whatsapp, messages, phone calls for bookings and enquiries.

We are certain that you have been checking your admission status on jamb site and for those who passed by merit have been seeing our names and status, in respect to this the TrustWit Edu-Institute team congratulate you all on your admission, and to the rest of you that haven't seen our names shouldn't worry a bit cause the merit list is just one of those lists to be released by the school even lists are still released on resumption date. If there is any question you have been willing to ask concerning the admission list and process ask via the comment box or message us.

The registration for the pre-degree programme is still on and presently the closing date is slated for 30th, September 2015. For those of us that haven't registered should try and do so before the date elapses. To know more about the pre-degree programme you can refer to our previous post on FAQS for the programme.

As we all had earlier been informed about the ENLIGHTENING PROGRAMME to be organised by TrustWit Edu-Institute which is promising to entail INTENSIVE PREPARATORY CLASSES where all combinations of subject component will be dealt with, CBT EXAM PRACTICE which is to test and also to ensure aspirants get familiarised with the format of their exam.
