I want to know programming; can anyone tell me which place or computer school I can study it? Or can I learn it on the internet, and pls advice me which book you think I can buy that will be of help either while studying it or learning from it?

All you need to do is just think of something like displaying data on a datagrid or a login. Then, you decide on what programming language you'll like to use to accomplish it.
